Candle Care

The first time you burn your candles, it’s important to allow it to burn for 2-3 hours to create a full “melt pool”. This means the melted wax reaches all the way to the edge of the vessel.

This ensures a clean, even burn all the way down. If the first burn is too short the candle will only burn down the middle, creating a tunnel.

After each burn, trim the wick to about 1/8 inch before relighting your candle. This may seem short, but this length is necessary for a wooden wick to work properly.
